When I had the pleasure of meeting Carolina and Giovanni, I had no idea what their request would be.
I remember it was a winter evening and when we started to imagine their / our wedding in Sicily we all catapulted in the city of Marsala, coloring our heads of its colors and its perfumes, savoring the good Sicilian wine and tasting delicacies locals. In reality at the time, as told, we were still in a bar in Milan, but it was clear to all three what would have been the dream to be completed, to be realized.
Their wedding actually wanted to be this, a convivial moment with relatives and friends, a long elegant table but at the same time not too formal in a breathtaking location (Le Cantine Finaofi Marsala) in front of beautiful Island of Favignana.
It was not easy, I must be honest. Organizing everything from afar, finding suitable suppliers for the creative proposal and the project I had planned for them was not easy.
But Sicily is its Sicilians, people always ready to give you a hand, to get in two to help. And so it was.
Carolina and Giovanni realized their dream on the first of July 2017, in the small Church of the Incoronata in the center of Marsala, before continuing to the home of the fantastic Fina family, owner of the Fina Cellars of Marsala.
This island is magical, I will never get tired of saying it!
